IRIA
& JACK

In Galicia, there is a beautiful word that doesn’t fully translate into English: morriña.
It’s a deep longing for our land — the landscapes, the rain, the food, the sea air, the
people, the slow conversations, and the warmth of being together. It’s nostalgic,
emotional, and deeply tied to Galician identity. For us, getting married here is our way of sharing that feeling with all of you. Galicia is
a place that stays with you, and we hope that after this celebration, you’ll feel a little
bit of morriña too.

● Madrid (going to be very hot, but if you’re connecting through here to get to Coruña, then you should see the city! Separate section for Madrid recs)● Formentera (Jack and Iria’s favorite island, still not too touristy other than Spaniards - a bit hard to get to though)● Ibiza (hear us out - if you escape the party side of the island, you will find that the Northern part of the island is beautiful)● Mallorca & Menorca (you can take a boat from one to the other)● Marbella● Costa Brava (best beaches on the East side, by Barcelona!)● San Sebastian & Biarritz (for our foodies! recommend flying)● Road Trip down to Portugal (Coruña is Portugal’s next door neighbor!
